Guidelines

How to use the Homer brand.

A short, opinionated set of rules so everything we ship — internal or partner — reads as Homer.

01 — The logo

Always use the official logo files from the Brand page. Don't redraw, outline, stretch, or recolor. Maintain clear space equal to the height of the "H" on all sides.

02 — Color

The five core colors carry the brand. Lean on Homer Black and Homer White for layouts; bring in Signal Orange for emphasis, CTAs, and one-color highlights. Never use Signal Orange as a body-text color.

03 — Typography

Display: Fraunces. UI/body: Inter. Stick to weights 400, 500, 600. Avoid italics in UI.

04 — Voice

Direct, warm, useful. Short sentences. No hype, no jargon. We're a team of operators talking to operators.

05 — Don'ts

  • No drop shadows on the logo.
  • No gradients on type.
  • No emoji in headers.
  • No images of unrelated products in Homer-branded ads.

06 — Questions

Internal: ping #brand. Partners: reach the person at Homer who shared this hub with you.
